Tūroa SkiArea is thrilled to announce its official winter opening, with, hospitality and snow play kicking off in Alpine Meadow from Saturday 31 May, and the ski and snowboard season set to launch on Saturday 28 June, perfectly timed for the start of the school holidays.

Tūroa is pleased to acknowledge and support today’s announcement that Whakapapa Holdings Limited (WHL) has been granted the Department of Conservation concession to operate the Whakapapa Ski Area from 1 May 2025.
