Season passes

Collect your ski pass from our pick-up kiosks. You’ll find them on-mountain outside & inside Guest Services, or pick your pass up before you head up here at our town store (coming soon) or TCB Ohakune.

Ages are taken as of 1 June 2025, except for 75+ which are based on the time of purchase.
Youth: 6-16 years; Adult: 17+; Senior: 65-74 years. Photo ID may be required.
Student is 17+yrs enrolled full time (minimum 32 weeks in a calendar year) with a New Zealand or Australian tertiary institution. Proof of current enrolment required. 
Children 5 and under and seniors 75+ ski free but require a validated pass for lift access.

The projected dates for 2025 are: 
1. Sightseeing & snowplay 31 May - 5 October
2. Skiing & riding 28 June - 26 October

To secure your pass, you’ll need to pay a portion of the product cost upfront and the remaining balance will be paid in installments by 31 May. If you purchase after the first installment date that first instalment will be added to your down payment. See T&Cs for further details.

Absolutely. The Alpine Meadow beginners area is the perfect place for kids to find their ski legs. We have full & half day kids lesson options and sledding for when small legs need a break. Our season pass holders love our season long kids programmes, with weekend and school holiday options, you’ll be amazed how fast they learn!

Winter conditions and weather on the mountain can change quickly. Rain or shine it's best to have waterproof outerwear, eye protection and sunscreen. If you arrive without something you need we have an extensive rentals and retail offering on the mountain.

We have both a grab & go and an à la carte restaurant at the base area. There are two more cafes on the mountain, the Snowflake at the top of the Parklane chair and the Giant at the top of the Giant chair.

You are welcome to bring a packed lunch with you, however these can only be consumed in the designated areas. Please follow the pack in - pack out rule and take any rubbish back down with you.

Season pass holders can bring a friend for FREE any Wednesday outside of the school holidays. Under 16s can bring a buddy who is 16 or under and Adults & Seniors can bring anyone aged 6-74. Senior + & under 5s who get free passes are not eligible to bring a buddy.
