The 2026 season starts July 4th, with plenty on offer in the lead up. 'HQ Ohakune' opening the weekends of 30–31 May, 6–7 June, and 13–14 June. From Saturday 20 June, HQ Ohakune will be open seven days a week. Sightseeing and the Alpine Cafe & Bar opening on the weekends of 20–21 June and 27–28 June.
