Get ready to throw down at the Tūroa Parks Rail Jam, supported by Red Bull. This is a high-energy friendly compettion for riders to show their style, precision and creativity in the park.
The competition starts at 1:00pm and runs in an open jam format, giving riders plenty of chances to put down their best tricks. Top 3 participants from each category win prizes.
Expect a live DJ, stacked prizes and a great crowd atmosphere. Whether you’re entering the jam or coming up to watch, bring your crew, bring the energy and get amongst it.
Registration can be completed online in advance via the Google Form, or in person on the day. Entry is $10, payable at check-in, where all competitors will also complete their event waiver.
Helmets are mandatory for all competitors throughout the event.
Event Details
Date: Saturday September 12th 2026
Time: Competition starts at 1:00pm
Entry fee: $10.00 and can be paid on the day when checking in and signing waivers.
Registration: Can be completed in advance via a google form or done in person on the day.
Event Waiver Forms: Will be completed in person on the event day during check in and paying entry fee.
Helmets are mandatory and must be worn during the event period.
Registrations: Register in advance through the Tūroa website. On the day registrations are welcomed between 9:00am to 11:00am at Guest Services at the Tūroa base area.
Rail Jam Location: The rail jam will be held in the High Flyer terrain park next to the Giant Cafe.
Event Day Schedule
9:00am - 11:00am - All competitors must complete event Check-in at Guest Services at Tūroa base area - sign waiver forms, pay entry fee and collect competitor bib. Participants 17yrs and younger will need a parent or guardian to sign their waiver forms. On the day registrations are welcomed during this time.
11:00am - 12:00pm - Competitors make their way to the Rail Jam location in High Flyer Terrain Park.
12:00pm - Competitors meet at the top of the rail jam course.
12:00pm - 12:10pm - Compulsory event and safety briefing for all competitors at the top of Rail Jam course. Competitors will need an event bib and helmet to enter the course zone.
12:10pm - 12:50pm - Warm up session for all competitors.
12:50pm - 1:00pm - Brief break to prep course for jam session, receive a briefing from judges.
1:00pm - Open Jam session begins.
2:30pm - Open Jam finishes.
2:30pm - 3:00pm - Prize Giving within Rail Jam zone.
3:00pm - Event concludes.
Helmets and Competitor Bibs: Helmets and competitor bibs are mandatory and must be worn while skiing/riding during the event. Bibs can be returned at the end of the competition and prize giving.
