A group brought together by a shared passion for Tūroa snow sports and an understanding of how crucially important it is to the economic and social fabric of the region. Our team includes ski industry experts and long-serving, dedicated Tūroa ski workers backed by financial and management professionals with access to the capital required to take Tūroa to the next level.

Pure Tūroa Ltd founders Cam Robertson (right) and Greg Hickman (left) have both made Ohakune their home. They're passionate about the future of Mt. Ruapehu and aspire to do their part in securing a strong local economy that supports the prosperity of the surrounding local communities.
 
Cam, a ski industry expert and professional ski trainer with experience in China, Japan and the USA, is an investor in regional commercial and residential property development and has built and managed highly successful hospitality businesses.
 
Greg owns beverage production facilities and hospitality businesses in Singapore and Indonesia, and with an IT background owns a tech company in the USA providing services to the utility and banking sectors. Locally, he's an investor in Ohakune property and a brewery developing products for export.
 
They've come together with a shared vision for developing the Tūroa ski area into a long-term financially, environmentally and culturally sustainable operation that delivers the most exciting and entertaining snow experience in New Zealand.

 

Pure Tūroa Ltd has been fortunate to attract an excellent advisory board that provides an immense resource of experience and depth of skills including corporate governance, banking and finance, government relations, iwi relations, environmental planning and operations management.

Pure Tūroa is happy to have the support of the incredible and enthusiastic RAL Tūroa staff and is building an amazing team of ski industry experts and operations staff that know Tūroa well and share the company's passion for the maunga.
